My mission statement is to go the extra mile in order to ensure the most beneficial path for selling Your objects, whether it be through a private collector, Museum or an auction house. During my more than 35 years’ in the auction industry, I co-founded and occupied the roles of CEO and head evaluator at Hagelstam Auction House in Helsinki, thereby creating a wide reaching network of invaluable clients and experts the world over.

 

As a business, Schnitt & Co is exclusively engaged with opulent decorative and fine art objects. My expertise lies in Nordic art and design as well as silver objects. In addition to individual appraisals, I have extensive experience in evaluating art and objects from estates and insurance companies.

 

Transparency is a key facet of my modus operandi. I make sure to clearly communicate my practice — explaining what my service entails, and in which ways it benefits you. I place importance on having an open communication where all factors and interests are explicit.
